The Stratford Hotel is a boutique hotel located opposite Stratford International, and just a stones throw from Westfield to make all your shopping dreams come true, as well as the canal’s and buzzy vibe of Hackney Wick. Stratford Underground is also a short walk away so there are great links to the whole of London.
From the moment you walk in to the hotel, you know it’s going to be a special stay. The triple-height lobby is sure to wow your bride-to-be, and just wait until she see’s the bedrooms! Floor-to-ceiling windows, queen sized beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, gorgeous blankets, natural stone bathrooms with walk-in rain forest showers and toiletries by REN….it’s definitely a luxury stay for the group.
Once the group have unpacked and settled (maybe squeezed in a cocktail on the gorgeous rooftop), you’ll head down to a private event space thats yours for 4 hours. Elegant and intimate, the space is flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and it’s a neutral space for you to personalise and decorate for the bride.
The perfume workshop is one of our favourite hen party activities as it appeals to guests of all ages and interests – and it’s a really fun and interesting experience. The idea is if celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and JLo can create their own scent, why can’t you?!
You’ll be talked through the basics of perfume making before the fun starts, and you’ll sample 21 different perfume blends before the best bit…blending and building your own personalised scent for you take home. The blends are top quality, so your perfume smells as good (and lasts as long) as the likes of Le Labo! We LOVE the idea of the bride creating her own scent for her wedding day! Each guest will receive a bespoke 5ml signature scent to take away, with the bride receiving a 20ml version. All your personalised scent info is saved, so you can re-order more of your scent at a later date.
Then it’s time for a delicious three course seasonal modern British set menu with half a bottle of wine for each guest and water, tea lights and personalised menu cards and place cards. Service charge is also included in the package price, so there are no hidden extra’s on the day. After dinner you can head to The Mezzanine, where DJs play every Saturday night into the early hours. Or you might want to head down into the nightlife of East London before resting your weary heads on your luxury Egyptian cotton sheets. Check out on Sunday isn’t until midday so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the delicious breakfast that’s included in the package before exploring the area.
